TD25 Day at Suntec CityEvery year on 15 February, Singapore commemorates Total Defence Day to remind Singaporeans that everyone has a part to play in defending our country. In 2009, we will be commemorating 25 years of Total Defence with Singaporeans sharing their thoughts on the question – "What will you defend?"
Nexus invites you and your students to join them at the TD25 Day at Suntec City Tropics Atrium (Tower 2) on 15 Feb 09, Sunday from 10 am – 8 pm. The first public performance of a new musical revue by Jonathan Lim and Bang Wenfu of Chestnuts fame is one of the many exciting commemorative activities planned. The show, "Five Pillars, One Roof", brings together various musical talents including jazz babes Sara Wee and Rani Singam. Keep a look out for the premiere "Singapore 2034" too. It is a collection of five short films with refreshing takes on Total Defence produced by students, as well as winning clips from the third season of the highly popular animation competition, N.E.mation! There will also be info-booths where you can learn about animation and film-making, play life-sized board games, take part in quizzes and share your own thoughts on Total Defence on a montage wall display! So, come on down to Suntec City Tropics Atrium on 15 February 2009 and tell Nexus – What will you defend?
